CEAC exhibition
Sóley has a background in psychology and works as a clinical psychologist in Reykjavík. Fifteen years ago she began to take courses at art schools in Reykjavik and Paris. She has held a couple of exhibitions in Reykjavík on her portraits; firstly of vagabonds of Paris, subsequently on outstanding women and most recently on artists to be remembered. She likes to shed light on people that often go unnoticed, stand out or swim against the current. For the artist, like the psychologist, is mostly interested in the unique, not the ordinary.
