Casper’s education began at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in 2010, in 2015 he graduated from the designLAB department with his graduation installation McJezus. In 2019, he attended the Sandberg Instituut Dirty Art Department.
In 2016, Casper completed Justin Bieber: The New Devotion, a series of sculptures and screen prints of popstar Justin Bieber. These works were presented in multiple locations across the Netherlands.
Since 2018, Casper has been represented by Torch Gallery. His first solo show, Forever, opened in September 2020. Forever (2020-current) consists of everyday home appliances that have been made into timeless marble sculptures.
Casper extends his practice to commercial commissions, like the design of the Floriade Expo 2022 awards, designing domino installations for the world record breaking TV program, Dominoday, and film direction for the Grachtenfestival and the Deutches Museum.
In 2021, Casper received a grant from the Mondriaan Fonds to research marble carving production techniques
in the Carrara, Italy; and in 2022, he received a project grant by the Mondriaan Fonds that guaranteed the making
of a new installation, titled ‘Departures’ (2023). This installation contains a series of sculptures along with an automated
vending machine and a film.
