Vroegop/Schoonveld, TIME-OUT 27 March 2009, 5 PM. Xiamen University Art College, Chinese European Art Center. After good experiences with art-book making in Xiamen in 2008 the Dutch artists-duo Vroegop/Schoonveld decided to print a book about their drawings, within the module of a comic book, during their second stay at the CEAC; 15-th February.- 15-th April 2009. This book represents both a catalogue of drawings ánd a comic book. The drawings in TIME OUT are philosophical reflections on social life and landscape, consumption and production, latest news and politics, financial crisis and art, friends and family, architecture and space. These drawings are made during a working period in Spain, Oct-Dec. 2008. TIME OUT is printed in a limited edition of 500 pieces, full colour, hard cover, numbered and signed.
