Femke Schaap(1972)and Sjerk Timmer(1963)both live and work as independent artists in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. After graduating from the Rietveld Academy in 1995 and earning their masters degree at the Sandberg Institute for Fine Arts. Femke Schaap is now teaching audio-visual arts at the Rietveld Academy. Next to participation in art shows, together they currently are working on two commissions for art in public space for the Dutch govemment.
