Simon Kentgens currently works and lives in Rotterdam (NL). He received his bachelor and master degrees in fine art at the Academy of Fine Arts, St. Joost Breda. He teaches at Avans College in Breda. He was recently awarded the NBKS prize for promising artist in the province of North-Brabant (2008) and was nominated for the Boarte prize (2009).
