Line of Sight originally refers to the transmitting antenna and the receiving antenna can “see” from each other. In this exhibition, through the reality shift of “seeing and being seen”, we extend a line from physical eyes to the imagination line between the observed objects, people and the world, and travel through the objective world we are currently in. These young artists have explored and experimented on different themes through photography, painting, video, installation and other medium, and present them in a unified way by digital technology. As its theme, as long as you remain curious about the infinite possibilities of the world and contact different perspectives with an open mind, you will discover, see and experience different landscapes at anytime, anywhere.

In the exhibition, young artists share their various connections with the world and objective reality through their unique perspective. In the development of human society, Ren Sixiong pays attention to the pollution of the ocean and focuses on how to clean up the garbage on the ocean surface. Lu Zhoupeng focused on the harm of external radiation to human beings, and found that human damage to the environment would lead to more radiation, then presented it with his works. Shen Zijian researched how to solve the problem of marine distress, and planned to build a rescue station to save mankind.
Leng Zixin used her works to explain her thoughts on the essence of modern
social consumerism and the psychological problems caused by modern people’s
anxiety about appearance, and put forward the point of view of women’s mutual
help. Jacob Tong’s works are particularly concerned with the healthy growth
of children, calling on all children to be treated with tenderness.

Exploring from a psychological level, Li Jiali uses animation as a medium to
describe the feelings of a person traveling from a personal perspective. Cao Yuanning
uses concise images to express personal psychological state and
think about his own existence. Liu Yujia used paintings to depict dreams,
misty and hazy, with overlapping mountains. Zhuang Qing explores deeper
into herself, expressing her own negative emotions through painting.
Recreating nature in Pan Yanrui’s works becomes a place to project oneself,
expressing one’s own point of view through symbolic language. Shi Yufeng
pays more attention to the subconscious level, creating works with fragmented
images and words. After all, in the future, it is possible for androids to
dream of electric sheep, but will Utopia meet cyberpunk?

In the relationship between human beings and nature, Lin Anqi is keen to
depict magical animal characters, and uses the medium of illustration to
present wonderful creatures in the imaginary world. He Tianran, was inspired
by observing bird wings to explore how to make a giant protective umbrella
to protect life on earth. Wong TSZ Ki Kenas uses gold foil, sequins, pearlescent
light and transparent watercolor to depict a purer harmonious relationship
between man and nature, conveying a message of self-confidence, bravery and
self-love. Liu Yiliu prefers to present the contradictory relationship of
conquest and dependence between human beings and nature in her works.

In the objective world we live in, Lin Yixuan studies the ancient and modern
architecture of a city, and condenses photos showing the changing times on
fashionable clothes. Liuxiong Lingyan spends time depicting bronzes made by
humans hundreds of years ago. The paintings of Ma Junye and Liang Yue also
reflect the remembrance of old-fashioned equipment in the past. Ouyang Lerong
integrates architecture and musical instruments, with intricate lines running
through the hollowed-out guitar model, just like those seemingly messy but
beautiful notes. Long Peiyi paints the beauty of the Alps with a brush.
Inspired by a felled tree found by chance, Wang Zixi created a series of
wooden vases which the color of the native wood brings a warm feeling.

In the experience of life, Dai Jiaqi uses images as a medium to show the process
of life from its beginning to its disappearance in a metaphorical way.
Shi Xiangting is immersed in her own world and uses painting to communicate with
this world. Wang Zhuoqin conceived a tree house built of glass and wood in the forest,
hoping that people can stay away from the city and enjoy the beauty of nature all
year round. Lang bowang is devoted to exploring how to build an underwater building,
so that people can enjoy the sunshine and the elegance of water in the water.
Liu Xirui created a pair of rings with cat ears because she missed her cat to keep her
sadness. Liu Bowen used his works to commemorate AVICII, one of the greatest DJs.
And Luo Wenhui faces the world with a smile, believing that smiles will always exist
in the world.

The works presented by these young artists are more of his or her individual
perspective, but when these coexist, we can experience the diversity and
richness of the world.
